Margaret Rutz

MARGARET TALETTA RUTZ, adored and beloved wife of Hans Rutz, slipped peacefully away early in the morning on Thursday, September 23, 2010 just 2 days shy of her 68th birthday. She was surrounded by her family and quietly went onwards.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband Hans and her four daughters Lorraine (Stuart) Kirk, Sandi Rutz, Karen (Jason) Burton and Deanna Beattie. She also made many unforgettable memories with her grandchildren, who she spoiled and enjoyed for all of her days: Laura, Kimberley and Robyn Beattie, Bailey and Rhys Kirk, and Jeanne and Veronica Burton. She will also be lovingly remembered by her treasured sister Mirra (Del) Olsen and her brother William Brown as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her mother in 1972 and her grandson Nicholas in 2000, who has been waiting 10 years for her to come and play with him in heaven.

Margaret lived her life to the fullest and made every moment count. Each time she had a setback she fought harder to make herself strong. She is an inspiration to all who knew her and the most courageous woman to ever walk the earth. She will be missed incredibly and loved for eternity.

A Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00PM, on Monday, September 27, 2010, at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. Not one for funerals, she would want all who attend to have happy memories of her life and times.

In lieu of flowers, the family would kindly ask that you make a donation in Margaret's name to the Arthritis Society, 200, 1301 - 8 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2R 1B7, so that a cure may be found for the disease that she beat time and time again.
