Margaret O'Donnell

MARGARET LOFT O'DONNELL peacefully went to her home in heaven on January 19, 2008. As she left the Milk River Health Centre, Margaret was surrounded by her loving family: her husband Joseph, with whom she had celebrated 65 years of marriage just 5 days earlier; her daughter Betty Anna O'Donnell; son-in-law Wayne Thielen; and grandson Brady Thielen. Also left to mourn her passing are grandchildren: Cheryl Spencer (Dennis Andriashek); Todd (Cathy) Spencer; Terry Spencer; Trevor and Jody Thielen as well as great grandsons Cody, Klynt and Clayton Spencer and Steven and Spencer Andriashek. Margaret is also survived by her sister Emma Swanson and sisters-in-law Helen Loft and Ellen ""Flossie"" O'Donnell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Margaret was predeceased by her daughter Monna Spencer, parents Anna and Albert Loft, brothers Ed and Arthur Loft.

Margaret was born on July 11, 1920 in Milk River, the 4th child of Albert and Anna Loft of Samso, Denmark. She received her schooling in Milk River and Olds College then returned to help on the family farm in Milk River. During this time she met Joe O'Donnell and they were married on January 14, 1943. Together they devoted their lives to raising their family and farming in Milk River.

We will sadly miss her tender touch and loving soul.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Milk River, Reverend Leroy Angle officiating.
