The Official Obituary of

Margaret Hetesy (Nagy) 1931 ~ 2013 Margaret Hetesy, beloved mother of Shirley (Bryan) Jones, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at the age of 82 years. Margaret was born in Drumheller and later the family moved to their farm in Coaldale, where she grew up.

Margaret enjoyed a long career in the dairy industry with Purity Dairy and Palm Dairy, winning awards for quality and flavorings of ice cream.

She loved to read and was a fantastic cook and gardener. In her retirement, she became an accomplished baker, specializing in homemade bread and buns, which we enjoyed very much.

Margaret was a wonderful, kind and loving mother and friend and she will forever be missed.

Margaret is survived by her loving daughter Shirley (Bryan) Jones and extended family, nephews Dennis Nagy, Richard Nagy and numerous relatives in Hungary.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Margaret Nagy, brother Frank Nagy and my dad John Hetesy.

A private family graveside service has been held.
