Marcia “Marci” Marie Lane, age 76 of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2026, with her loving family by her side.
Marci was born on August 2, 1950, in Melfort, Saskatchewan. She brought immense warmth, love, and dedication to her family throughout her beautiful life, creating a legacy of love that will be carried on by generations to come.
She was predeceased by her father Herbert Jobe; mother Helen Jobe; sister Sandra Simpson and grandson Preston DeSmit.
Marci is survived and deeply missed by her devoted husband Ian Lane; son Scott (Julie) Lane and her daughter Michelle Lane. She was a cherished grandmother to Ashley Lane, Haley Pasiechnik, Madison Lane, and Dax DeSmit. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Theo Pasiechnik and Lucy Pasiechnik. She also leaves behind her sister Sharon Bailey; brother Jim Jobe; along with many loved nieces, Wanda Turner, Taryn Bailey; nephews Warren Turner, William McKinnon, Tristan Thomas as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
In keeping with Marci’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. Her family will celebrate her life privately.
