Madie Flanagan

JULY 24, 1943 - JANUARY 10, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce that MADIE LEE FLANAGAN (nee Bosley) passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010, surrounded by her family. She had a short but courageous battle with lung cancer.

Madie Lee leaves behind her wonderful husband Jim and their children; Shawn, Kevin (grandchildren Makalya and Michelle), Shannon and James (Veronica). She also leaves behind her mother Gladys Bosley and sisters Bertha Thompson and Velvet Atjai, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Madie Lee worked at Lakeview School as a lunch lady for the last 18 years and loved the interaction with the children and staff alike. She had the nickname ""The Hug Lady"" and anyone who really knew her, will know why.

Madie Lee will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. If she was a friend of yours, you had a friend for life. At Madie Lee's request a private family service will be held at a later date.
