LYDIA BAKOWSKI

1931 ~ 2018

Mrs. Lydia Bakowski of Coaldale, beloved wife of the late Mr. Hannes Bakowski, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Lydia is survived by her children Kurt Bakowski, Marina Bakowski, Rose (Ernie) Courtoreille, Christine (Tim) Hankey, Rita (Ken) Wahl; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren on the way and one great-great grandchild on the way.

Besides her loving husband Hannes, Lydia was pre-deceased by her parents Rudolph and Emilie Sonnenberg, and her son Peter Bakowski.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. Interment will be held in the Coaldale Cemetery.
