Louise Gajdostik

It is with shock and sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, sister, aunt and friend Louisa, on June 15, 2010 at the Chinook Regional Hospital, after a very recent illness. Louisa is survived by her husband Steve; her children Allan (Bev) and Marilyn (Jeff); three brothers Tony (Helen), Geno, and Mike (Betty); sister Lillian (Gordon); grandson Douglas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Carmen Giacchetta. Louisa was born on June 28, 1933 in Lethbridge, enjoyed her career in teaching, and later, even in her ""retirement"" had an unstoppable drive to serve her community. The family thanks Dr. Wong and Dr. Janzen and the nursing staff of the Chinook Regional Hospital's intensive care unit for compassionate care during Louisa's illness. Many thanks to the people of our wonderful community who called, visited and sent cards, flowers and food.

A Church Service, for close family and friends will be held at a later date.
