Louis Kowalski

MR. LUCJAN ""LOUIS"" KOWALSKI of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Alice Kowalski, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the age of 96 years.

Louis was born February 3, 1914 in Czernikowo, Poland, to parents Walter and Bernice Kowalski.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Katherine Slupinski, brothers; Zeno and Henry, and his step son Bob Thom.

Louis is survived by his step daughter Patricia Thom of Kamloops, his brothers Joseph (Za Za), and Alec (Gerry - deceased) and his sister Jeanie, along with his granddaughters Andrea (Kelly Lucy) Thom, and Kelly (Jack) Fagg, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2011 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at ST. BASIL'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13th Street North, Lethbridge, with Father John Kohler, celebrant.

Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.
