Lorraine Theresa Bodnaruk March 25, 1926 ~ September 20, 2013 Mrs. Lorraine Theresa Bodnaruk, beloved wife of the late John Bodnaruk, passed away peacefully on Friday September 20th 2013 at the age of 87 years. Lorraine was born as Lorraine T. Hemsing in Divide Saskatchewan on March 25 1926 and was schooled there till she moved to Rolling Hills Alberta in 1941. Lorraine completed her education at Garbut Business School in Lethbridge immediately after moving to Rolling Hills. Lorraine ""mom"" then married John Bodnaruk on July 18th 1945 and became a full time farm wife which she cherished doing. Mom will forever be remembered for her cooking, whether it was a full course spread in the field at harvest or the many parties and celebrations at the home. You never went hungry at John and Lorraine's home. If she wasn't cooking she was doing her gardening and ceramics mom loved doing both; however she more loved sharing the fruits of both with her family and friends. Besides her loving husband, Lorraine is predeceased by her 5 sisters and 3 brothers, and survived by her 3 children, Pat Bodnaruk (Margie) their children Lori (Dave) and Richard (Kristine). Marie Stilgoe (David) their children Debbie (Mike), Robin (Dorne) and Terry (Tania). Mitch Bodnaruk (Diane) their children Ryan, Cole and Kalie. Lorraine will long be remembered and loved by her 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Vigil Rites will be held at 7:00pm, on Tuesday, September 24th 2013 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge led by Deacon Michael Pollard.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm, on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at ST. MARTHA'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 355 Columbia BLVD West, Lethbridge with Father Salvador Ahumada celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, 100 - 119 14 Street North West, Calgary Alberta, T2N 1Z6
