Mr. Lorne Kropinak of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Jean Kropinak, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the age of 85 years.
Born, raised and educated in Lethbridge, Lorne was a devoted and hardworking father who was proud to work for Alberta Government Telephones for 32 years. Dad had many passions; music was one of his greatest. He played in a band, gave accordion lessons and played the piano even up to his last days.
Lorne will now be reunited with his wife Jean (Sera) Kropinak; mother Helen (Tesluk) Kropinak; father Mike Kropinak; sister Percian; an infant brother named Ernest John; and granddaughter Krista Moore.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters Lorna (Randy) Moore, Sherry (Shannon) Ivan; son Darwyn Kropinak; brother Marvin Kropinak; grandchildren Candice (Rob) Mcneil, Colin (Christie) Ivan Shaun (Jill) Ivan, Ryan (Jessica) Ivan, David Kropinak, Heather (Kropinak) Leith; and many great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Mountain View Cemetery.
The family invites those who wish to attend but have concerns about their health or the weather to participate within their vehicle to listen to the service via radio.
