Lorna Gwatkin

Miss Lorna Francis Gwatkin of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully and suddenly at Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 74 years.

Lorna was born on March 24, 1947.  She leaves behind her brother Richard; sister-in-law Carol and nephew Willy.Lorna was pre-deceased by her parents Barney and Emily Gwatkin.

Lornas life was lived in happiness and struggle. With determination to try as hard as she could every day. Lorna’s most happy times were spent at bull sales with her dad. She and her dad loved to ride together on her pony Gus.

Lorna in her younger years, participated in Special Olympics and she bowled for many years until her game went sour! Lorna and her brother are forever grateful for the loving care she received over the years.

Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, with Father Derek Remus, celebrant.
