Lori Saar

LORI LEE SAAR (nee Blakie, ex. Kambeitz) of Coaldale, beloved wife of Bruce Saar, passed away on August 14, 2011 after a long and courageous fight against cancer at the age of 48 years.

Lori was born in Coaldale to Ruth and Alvin Blakie. She attended school at St. Joseph, Kate Andrews, SAIT, and the University of Lethbridge. She worked at the Lethbridge College.

Besides her loving husband Bruce, Lori is survived by her son Adam Kambeitz, her step-son Adam, step-daughters Andrea (Alex) and Nicole (Johnny), her sister Marilyn (Wes), her brother Earl (Karen), and her sister Karen (Richard) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Alvin Blakie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.
