Lloyd Jacobson

MR. LLOYD JACOBSON of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Harriett Jacobson, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2007 at the age of 89 years.

Lloyd will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Harriett (Heather); his children: Carol (Ken) Bell, Lynn (Elaine), Heather (Gavin) Griffiths, Jay (Susan); grandchildren: Michael, Sean (Anne), Andrew, Jamie (Jaclyn), Megan (Jared), Jill, Allison, Robyn, Jeffery, Steven, David; great-grandchildren: Elijah and India and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Otto and Selma Jacobson; brother Art and sister Ruth.

Lloyd was born January 31, 1918 on the farm that his grandfather and father homesteaded in the Enchant area. He married Harriett in July of 1949 and together they continued to farm the homestead and raise their four children. Lloyd and Harriett have lived in Lethbridge since 2000.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the ENCHANT COMMUNITY HALL, Enchant, AB, with Pastor Jakob Pillibeit, officiating. Interment to follow in the Enchant Cemetery.
