MRS. LILY MAY DUNK (nee Larter) of Warner, beloved wife of the late Mr. Sherman Dunk, passed away on Monday August 22, 2011 at the age of 63 years.

Lil is survived by her brother Marland (Marilyn) Larter and their daughters Karen, Kathryn and Jodi and their families; mother- in-law Alice Dunk; her Uncle Edward Larter; sister-in-law Ethel Watmough; brother-in-law Elton (Carol) Dunk; step-daughter Tracey (Scott) Noble and their children Andrew and Jenna; step-son Michael Dunk; step-grandson Joshua Hill; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Besides her loving husband Sherman, Lil was predeceased by her parents Stanley & Margaret Larter and by her step-daughter Jennifer Hill.

Lil was born on May 12, 1948 in Lethbridge, AB. She attended school in Iron Springs & Picture Butte, attended the University of Lethbridge where she received her teaching degree. She spent many years in 4H, and was a member of the AWI Girls' Club. Lil taught school in Lethbridge, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Southern Alberta. Music was a very important part of her life. She was a member of the Anne Campbell Singers, involved in musical theatre and sang in a dance band around Southern Alberta for many years. Lil was very instrumental in organizing the Warner Centennial Celebration and served and has been involved in various organizations in the Warner area.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday August 27, 2011 at the WARNER ELKS HALL, Warner, Alberta with Pastor Jason Carroll, officiating.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Those who wish, donations in Lily's memory may be made to the Warner Royal Purple or to the Warner Library Association.
