Ms. Lillian Rosabel Evanoff, of Lethbridge passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 96.
Lillian was born on August 26, 1929, in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. She was raised and educated in the Englewood District (Hearts Hill, Saskatchewan) on the family farm. She completed two years of high school in Luseland, Saskatchewan, and went on to receive her nursing training at Saskatoon City Hospital.
In 1952, Lillian moved to Lethbridge to join her family. She worked at the Roy Clinic and later at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital. Lillian retired in 1988 and continued to reside in Lethbridge until her passing.
Lillian was predeceased by her parents, William and Dana Evanoff; her brothers, Evan Evanoff and Boris Evanoff; and her sisters, Vera Kembel and May Warnock.
She is survived by her niece, Carol Clifford (Wes), her nephew Brian Evanoff (Diane), her nephew Craig Evanoff (Susan), her niece Sharon Ferguson (Rob), her nephew Cal Kembel (Anne) and her niece Michelle Hesson (Ken) and numerous other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, the CNIB Foundation, or a charity of one’s choice.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329 15 St S, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating.
Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
