Lilian Hubbard

LILIAN HUBBARD of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Harrisam Hubbard, passed away on June 27, 2007 at the age of 90 years.

Lilian was born in Emley, Yorkshire, England on August 9, 1916. She came to Canada at the age of 5 and grew up on her parents' farm in West Lethbridge. Lilian married her sweetheart Harrisam and they continued to live in West Lethbridge until they retired from farming. Lilian had been a member of Eastern Star, Hospital Auxillary and was an avid bridge player.

On behalf of Lilian the family extends its heartfelt thanks to the care givers at St. Michaels, for the care and compassion show during these past months.

Lilian was predeceased by her husband Harrisam and a granddaughter Lori Fekete.

Lilian is survived by her children Carol (Joe) Fekete and son Grant Fekete, Norma Schlaht and sons Bradley and Brian McKenzie; Keith (Dianne) Hubbard and daughters Jillane and Heather Hubbard; as well as 7 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, July 2, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St. S., Lethbridge, AB. Cremation.
