Our beloved daughter, Leslie Sabine Llarena Malabanan, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the age of 19.
Leslie is survived by her parents, Willy and Liza, and sister, Ashley, who will carry her spirit forward with love and pride.
Leslie’s presence was a gift — gentle, bright, and full of life. She loved her dogs, Kooba, Ramboo and Jerry. She loved cooking for family gatherings and singing in the car on long drives. She also loved reading romance books and watching horror movies. She could make anyone smile, even on difficult days.
Leslie’s kindness, generosity, and warmth left an imprint that will never fade. Her light will continue to guide all who loved her.
Her family thanks all who supported her with prayers and kindness. Her joy, compassion, and sense of wonder will remain with those who loved her — a lasting reminder of how deeply she cared.
Leslie’s family will remember her laughter, her faith in people, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and valued.
A Celebration of Leslie’s life will be held at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 St. S, Lethbridge, on 8 April 2026 at 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with refreshments to follow. Please bring stories, photos, and memories to share.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at ST. BASIL’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13 St. N, Lethbridge, with Father Santiago Torres officiating.
