Leonard Houghton

Mr. Leonard Houghton of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Margaret Houghton, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the age of 73 years.

Besides his loving wife Margaret, Leonard was predeceased by his son Rowdy; parents Myrtle and Frank Houghton as well as his brother George.

Leonard is survived by his children Leonard Jr. (Diane); daughters Debbie (Dennis) Mezei and Denise Barnes; grandchildren Kristin (Bo), Chris, Shawn, Dillon, Dalton, Dustin and Kelsi.

Dad was an independent trucker for most of his life. He loved our family holidays to Disneyland, Kalispel and many camping trips. One of the highlights in Dad and Mom’s lives was their trips to England, visiting family and friends.

You’ll always be with us, and will be greatly missed by all who knew you.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00pm, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 1210 Scenic Drive S., Lethbridge, Alberta. Cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta with Canon Allan McCuaig officiating.
