Len Cave beloved husband of Florence Cave of Lethbridge, passed away on May 29, 2007 at the age of 84 years.

Len was born August 18, 1922 on the family farm in Tugaske Saskatchewan. On August 5, 1950 he married Florence Livergood, they spent 57 years together, raising their six children, Donna (Terry), Sharon, Brian (Heather), Bruce, Boyd and Linda. He attended University of Saskatoon and obtained his teaching certificate. Len's first job was teaching at a country school close by his home. Len moved to Alberta in 1948 where he worked at the International Correspondent School. He then embarked on a career in the financial services industry starting at the Industrial Acceptance Corp, Laurentide Financial Corp, National Bank and then retiring from the Toronto Dominion Bank. Len was passionate about horses. He belonged to the Whoop-up Saddle Club, Hill-Toppers Club, and the Golden Age Equestrian Association. Len regularly participated in horse shows throughout Southern Alberta. Besides his loving wife Florence, he is survived by his six children, and his eleven grandchildren, Tara, Travis, Wesley, Brenda, Jeffery, Lindsay, Brad, Lisa, Candace, Sam and Sheena. He is also survived by his one brother Stanley (Sylvia) of Tugaske Saskatchewan, his two sisters Daphne Johnson (Henry), and Mavis Nicholson of Central Butte Saskatchewan, and Brother in law Clayton Livergood (Necia) of Lethbridge, as well as his many nieces and nephews.

At Len's request a private service will be held in his honor.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Len Cave to the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association RR8-24-6 Lethbridge AB, T1J 4P4.
