Lawrence (Laurie) Osborne

December 7, 1928 - April 26, 2014

Our kind, gentle and much loved husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 85 surrounded by his family. Laurie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years Ruth (nee Mueller), his son Calvin Belsher, daughters Karen (Don) Stewart, and Arlene (Andy) Mankowski; 10 cherished grandchildren; 5 sisters, 5 brothers, and many extended family members. Laurie was born in McCord Saskatchewan and was one of 16 children of William and May Belsher. He was predeceased by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He will be deeply missed. Special thanks to all the cardiac nurses and doctors at the Calgary Foothills Hospital, Chinook Regional Hospital and Heart Function Clinic. Their care and compassion has been greatly appreciated over the years. A Funeral to celebrate the life of this wonderful man will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Lethbridge First Baptist Church, 1614-5th Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB.
