The family of Gordon Laurie is saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 74 years.

Gordie is survived by his wife of 52 years Ruth, his son Trent; daughter Janne (Brad) Parascak. He was a proud ""papa"" to his grandchildren Tessa and Terik Parascak. He is also survived by two siblings; sister Alice Saunders of Taber; brother Danny (Pauline) of Raymond and; numerous in laws, nephews, nieces and their families.

Gordie enjoyed golf, golf, and more golf, many trips to Vegas, time spent at the ""new building"" Laurie, Kenna and Associates. Gordie cherished his time with family and valued his time with all his friends. He was a man who showed a lot of love, compassion, and generosity.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm, on Monday, April 4, 2011, at the Mountain View Cemetery, Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm, on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the COAST LETHBRIDGE HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTRE, 526 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Trevor Potter, officiating.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Gordie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
