Lauretta Rinehart

LAURETTA MAE RINEHART of Fort Macleod, passed away at St. Michael's Health Care Centre on August 7, 2008 at the age of 86 years.

Lauretta is survived by her children Naomi Staddon of Vancouver, BC, Jud (Diane) Dogterom of Ottawa, ON, Teddy (Gerrit) Warmink of Monarch, AB, and Dalyce (Len Ballard) Dogterom of Heriot Bay, BC, grandchildren Tracy Warmink of Coaldale, AB, Sherry Smith of Lethbridge, AB, Gwyneth (Jim) Gifford of Kingwood, TX, Chad (Mary-Beth) Staddon of Bristol, England and seven great-grandchildren.

In earlier years, Lauretta was a licensed auctioneer, successful insurance sales person and had her own real estate business. In 1965 she married Jim Rinehart and moved to the family farm and ranch South of Cardston. After Jim's death Lauretta moved to the Fort Macleod area. There she took great pleasure in continuing to develop a breeding and training program for her quarter horses.

A family Graveside Service was held at the Nanton Cemetery on August 15, 2008.
