Mrs. Laura McIntyre passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 91 years.

Mom met the love of her life and her greatest ally during the second World War. Kenneth loved and cared for her deeply for 68 years. She will be deeply missed by her daughters and family and will be easily remembered by all who knew her. Laura will be remembered best for her wit and sense of humor, but especially for her love of music and singing.

Laura was predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth and her beloved son Kenneth Grant.

Laura is survived by her daughters Janice (John) VanEden, Brenda (Bruce) Jespersen; grandchildren Carey VanEden (James Brandt), Paul VanEden, Kendra (Lee) Begg, Krystan Jespersen; great-grandchildren Willem, Alexandra, Audrey, Gwen, Daija, Arcade; sisters Helen, Josie and Clara as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

A Celebration of Laura’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street S., Lethbridge, Alberta. A private family interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
