MRS.ELEONORE KUHN, beloved wife of the late Wilhelm Kuhn passed away at the Coaldale Health Care Centre on Monday October 13, 2008 at the age of 94 years.

Eleonore was born December 13, 1913 in Josefstal, Ukraine where she was raised and educated. She moved to Germany in 1943 and immigrated to Canada in June 1951. The family resided in Diamond City for a short time working in the sugar beets and in 1952 the family moved to Coaldale where Eleonore has resided until her passing. The past 13 years her home has been in the Coaldale Health Care Centre.

Eleonore is survived by her son Willie (Ida) of Coaldale, two daughters Irmgard Kuhn of Coaldale and Frieda Anton of Lethbridge. Six grandchildren, John (Sofia) Kuhn, Lillian (J.C) Chameroy, Lorriane (Adrian) Kaufmann, Terence (Leona) Anton, Ken (Bonnie) Anton, and James (Janice) Anton, also eleven nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany.
Eleonore was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Her great grandchildren were a special blessing to her in the later years, brightening her days. Eleonore loved the Lord and was a lifetime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Besides her husband Wilhelm, she was predeceased by her first husband Johann Kuhn, three infant children, daughter-in-law Ilse Kuhn, her parents Daniel and Luise Geworsky, four sisters and three brothers.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church. 2006 - 20th street Coaldale with Pastor Peter Lurvey officiating. Interment will follow in Coaldale Community Cemetery.
