Kimberly Mackay

It is with great sadness that the family of Kimberly Anne Mackay announce her passing. It was because of Kimberly’s fierce love for her children, Alex, Keegan, Dayton, Reyna, Lucas, and grandson Tony, that she fought her battles with cancer, but, lost that battle on June 4, 2020 at the age of 40 years.

She is survived also by her daughter Reyna; sons Alex, Keegan, Dayton and Lucas; grandchild Tony; mom Lynn; stepdad Darryl; sisters Christine and Kathryn, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

After Kimberly’s 1st bout of cancer, she went back to school and received her Diploma to become a licensed Care Aid. She also went out and got a puppy, Daisy. Daisy loved her mama and would snuggle with her when Kimberly was not feeling well. Daisy also misses her mom a lot. Kimberly got a job at the Good Samaritan West Highland Centre and she loved her job there. She met some great friends at work and really liked working with the elderly. One of Kimberly’s favorite things was country music and attending Country Thunder Concerts with her friends.

You were loved by so many Kimberly, and we will miss you forever.

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
