Kenneth Coutts of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Dorothy Coutts, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Ken was born in Lethbridge on September 22, 1931 to parents Charles and Mary Coutts. He went to primary school in Lethbridge before the family relocated to Vancouver, BC due to health concerns of his father. At the age of 19, Ken enlisted in the Canadian Military and was first posted to Shilo, Manitoba. He would ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle back and forth from Shilo.

Ken has led a full and interesting life. He is a Korean War Veteran. During the 26 years of loyal service to Canada, Ken has been posted to some interesting places such as Washington DC and VFS Fort Churchill Manitoba. He retired from the Military in 1975 at Victoria, BC.

After a brief stay in Winfield, BC, Ken moved to Saskatoon to work for the School Board. After 36 years, he moved back to Lethbridge until his passing.

He was a member in good standing with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4.

Ken is survived by a sister Elaine (Keith) Robertson of Prince George, BC. Ken was predeceased by his parents and 4 brothers.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4th Street South, Lethbridge, AB.
