Ken Bartz

KENNETH BARTZ beloved husband of Alvina passed away suddenly on May 19th at the age of 67.

He is survived by his children Natalie and Alan (Jodi) Bartz and grandchildren Conrad, Candace, Deanna and Katarina. He is also survived by his siblings, Don (Donna) Bartz, Marlene (Bruce) Hubbard, June (Doug) Dow and Roy (Jan) Bartz, sister-in-law Alma Ragan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken grew up on a farm in Monarch and in the fall of 1962 he married Alvina Bublait and moved to Iron Springs. He spent the next 50 years here raising a family in a loving farming environment. He was very involved in community volunteering for many good causes. He had genuine zest for life and will be greatly missed by those he touched.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 9:00pm on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm on Friday, May 25, 2012 at ST. AUGUSTINE'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 - 11 Street South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating.
