MRS. KATHRYN ""KAY"" ELAINE CLOW of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Harold Roy Clow, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital with her family by her side on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the age of 87 years.

Kay was born in Meyronne, Saskatchewan on February 24, 1925. She was the 7th child of eight in the family of Fred and Minnie LaFountain. She was proud of her contribution to the war effort and went on to become a teacher. Her teaching career brought her to Alberta where she met the love of her life Harold. Together they farmed and raised 3 daughters in the Barons and Bar Hill areas.

She was a woman of many passions and interests including curling, gardening, cooking, reading, music and playing bridge.

Kay is lovingly remembered by her daughters; Lana, Patti (Lawrence Kotkas), and Carmen (Harry Umbrich). She leaves four grandchildren; Shawn Burke, Marla (Gord Bloudoff), Troy Bobak (Hollie), Rick Bobak, and 3 great grandchildren.

She is survived by one sister, Una Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kay cherished her friends, many of who shared her love of curling. She was pleased to have been able to watch the 2012 World Women's Curling Championship right to the last end.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 30, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Trevor Potter, officiating.
