Kathleen Lamont

It is with much love and great memories that the family of KAY LAMONT, beloved wife of Tony Lamont, announce her passing on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the age of 76 years. How privileged we were to have her as our Mom and best friend. We will miss her so much.

Kay was born on May 21, 1933 in Marvelville, ON to George and Anna Hay. In 1954 she met and married the love of her life, Tony Lamont. She enjoyed curling, camping, playing any card game and loved the casino. She was an avid sports fan, especially her passion for the Blue Jays. Kay was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Besides her loving husband of 55 years Tony, Kay is survived by her daughter Linda (Brian) Aulenback; sons Don (Barb) and Dennis (Rhonda) Lamont; grandchildren Cory and Kelsie Aulenback, Cameron Lamont, and Delane and Devon Lamont; brother Eldon Hay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Kay was predeceased by her parents and brother Keith Hay.

The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her during her stay at St. Michael's Palliative Care and Dr. Raphael her favorite doctor.

A Memorial Service to honor her life will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Lois Punton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, 1400 - 9 Ave South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5.
