Karl Lang

Karl Vincent Lang 1936 ~ 2013 Karl Vincent Lang was born on March 26, 1936 and passed away on October 4, 2013. He is now, after 18 years, reunited with his wife, Cleone, in heaven. Karl was known for his athletic ability and love of golf and tennis. After retiring from Canada Post he was a Condo and Home Sales Representative. He enjoyed weekly phone calls and visits with friends and family including his sister Rosie Kacsinko (Frank). Karl could talk to anyone about anything. Most importantly, Karl was a wonderful dad and grandfather. His only child, Shannon Van Seters, shared a unique bond with him; that of an only child and her dad. From Calgary day trips to 24 years as her boss with Canada Post to Saturday breakfasts they had a special relationship. When Shannon married Hugo, Karl cared for him as a son. Karl's grandchildren, Vincent Van Seters (Meghan) and Victoria Wilkie (Dave) were his heart, pride and joy from the moment of their births. Life will be forever changed without Gramps. Karl's great-grandchildren (his sweetie-pies) Alexa Wilkie and Hailey, Braden and Addison Van Seters will so miss Papa Karl and his endless supply of Smarties. We miss you so much already. A private memorial will be held in Karl's honour.
