Joseph Toth

MR. JOSEPH TOTH of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Anne Toth, passed away at the Good Samaritans West Highlands Centre on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the age of 88 years.

Besides his loving wife of almost 62 years, Annie Toth, Joe is survived by his two daughters Sadie-Jane (Russ) Rasmussen of Magrath, and Bobbie (Jim) Zaremba of Lethbridge, his grandchildren; Jolene (Scott) Waldie of Coalhurst, Ken (Melissa) Rasmussen, Stephanie (Tyler) Murray, and Ashley (Riley Parker) Zaremba, all of Lethbridge. He is also survived by his extended family; Billi Jo (Darryll) Hickey of Medicine Hat and Dustin (Billi Lee) Zaremba of Stirling, and his great grandchildren; Trace, Prestin, Lincoln, Aarin, Jordyn, Kyla, Brody, Janz, and Isabella, along with his sister-in-law, Barbara Knutson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was predeceased by his parents and sibling.

Joe had many loves, but none as dear as his family. Joe was a farmer, a coalminer for 1 day, a construction worker, and retired from Atco Gas in 1988. In 1996 Joe had a stroke, but it never changed his outlook on life. He taught his family to live, love, and laugh, which is what he did until the very end. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him, especially his family.

Joe's family would like to thank the staff and management of Good Samaritans West Highlands for their excellent care.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, February 11, 2011, at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Mr. Jim Chapman, officiating.
