Joseph Schmitz

MR. JOSEPH SCHMITZ of Taber passed away at the Taber Continuing Care Center on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the age of 89 years.

Joseph was born on December 29, 1917 in Barons, Alberta. He enjoyed playing the accordion and wood working. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1996. He is survived by is sons Don (Karen) of Taber and Gary (Dixie) of Medicine Hat; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister Rose Pyne and sister-in-law Mary Skretting.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respect between 1:00PM and 1:45PM at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge prior to a Graveside Service held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the ARCHMOUNT CEMETERY, West Lethbridge on Westside Drive, with Gary Schmitz officiating.
