Joseph Rowland

JOSEPH RAYMOND EDWARD ROWLAND JR. of Lethbridge passed away on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the age of 49 years.

Raymond was born May 24, 1961 in Lethbridge. Raymond had all his schooling in Lethbridge and at the age of 18, he started working for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a Trainman, then Conductor. He worked with the CPR for 31 years, until his passing. He was battling with cancer for a period of time.

Raymond is survived by his loving mother Marilyn Rowland, his brothers; George (Trish), Robert ""Bob"" (Laura) and his sister Marlene (Bill), along with all his nieces and nephews. Raymond also shared a portion of his life raising two children, Jenny and Kyle Towers.

He was predeceased by his father in 2008. He had a great passion for sports, especially hockey. The Toronto Maple Leafs was his team. He enjoyed doing Hockey Pool with the CPR boys and his coffee outings with friends.

He will really be missed by everyone and his best dog pal, Jazz.

Raymond's family will remember him privately.
