Joseph Bakos

Mr. Joseph Howard Bakos of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Julia Bakos, passed away after a lengthy illness on January 6, 2014 at the age of 47 years.

For the past 17 years, Joe has worked for the Lethbridge Transit. Joe enjoyed fishing and camping plus his affinity for gnomes. He also enjoyed cruising around in his mustang.

Besides his loving wife Julia, Joe is survived by his step-daughter Lacey Milos (Keith McLeod); step-son Andrew Milos; grandchildren Nathan and Hayden; brother Troy (Char) Bakos and niece Taylor; as well in-laws Walter and Christine Niznikowski, brother-in-law Rick (Deb) Niznikowski (Dustin and Melissa Neufeld) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, friends and their families. Joe was predeceased by his mom Marilyn Bakos.

Vigil Rites will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, January 10, 2014 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Deacon Cliff Bogdan, celebrant. An interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery.
