Jose Medeiros

MR. JOSE MANUEL DeSOUSA MEDEIROS passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2007 in Lethbridge at the age of 54 years.

Jose was born on April 29, 1953 in Sao Miguel, Azoraes, Portugal. He relocated to Canada when he was 4. He has lived all over but claimed Lethbridge his home. Joe will be remembered for playing his guitar in various locations around the city. As a member of the Buskers Association of Lethbridge, he took pride in playing for the public because Joe said, ""It's fun"" ""I get a lot of compliments."" He will be greatly missed by all.

Jose is survived by his children Joseph Boettcher, Sylvia (Darryl) Hudson, Christina Hall: grandchildren Michael Boettcher, Elliott Hadden, Oddessa Hudson; mother Maria Medeiros; brothers Manuel (Liz) Medeiros, Frank (Kathy) Medeiros and their families; sisters Fatima (Bruno) Scagnol, Anna Oliviero, Linda Medeiros and their families.

Jose was predeceased by his father Frank Medeiros in 1982.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
