The Official Obituary of

Jolene Hewitt Kneale 1934 ~ 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jolene at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 5, 2013.

Jolene was born in Calgary, Alberta where she resided most of her life. She attended Early Grey School in Mount Royal and Havergal Girls' School in Toronto, Ontario. After graduating from Havergal she attended the Chamberlain School of Retailing and Merchandising in Boston, Massachusetts. She returned to Calgary after graduating from Chamberlain and worked briefly for the Bay & the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. She spent many years in sales and marketing and together with her husband Miles, operating a distributorship for Safeguard Business Systems. Jolene was an engaging, colorful person with a keen sense of humour. Jolene was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lucille Johnson and her twin brother Garry C. Johnson, Q.C.

Jolene is survived by her husband of 47 years Miles Kneale; 3 children David, Dianne (Bill) and Belinda (Mike); grandchildren Robin and Nicholas Kneale; two grand-dogs Tess and Juneau Spiteri; sister-in-law Jeanette (Jim) Jarvis of Annadale, Virginia; 2 nieces; 3 nephews and her beloved dog Jack.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Edith Cavell Care Centre and Chinook Regional Hospital.

As per Jolene's wishes she will be going home. Her ashes will be scattered with her parents and her brother.
