Mrs. Jolane Molnar of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. George Molnar, passed away suddenly on May 3, 2015 at the age of 93 years.

Jolane was born in Hungary on December 9, 1921 to Julius and Mary Gal. At age 16 she immigrated to Canada with her family. She met and married her love George Molnar and had two children. Jolane was an active member in the Seniors Community including the Norbridge Seniors, she was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Army Navy and Airforce Veterans Club.

Jolane is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Ron Myra) Schwarz; son Robert (Anna Bonnel) Molnar; grandchildren Alan Molnar, Jeff Molnar, Erik Schwarz, Kareen Davis; six great-grandchildren; sisters Mary (Robert) Kolesar and Patricia Herbert; brother Bill (Shirley) Gal; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her husband George, Jolane was predeceased by her parents Julius and Mary Gal; sisters Erma Quyale and Regina Brooks; brother Julius Gal; son-in-law Peter Schwarz; and grandson-in-law Anthony Davis.

Jolane will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 9, 2015 followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 St. S., Lethbridge, AB. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
