Johnny Kopervas of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Margaret Kopervas, passed away suddenly at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the age of 84 years.
Johnny was born and raised in Barnwell, Alberta. He moved to Lethbridge after meeting Margaret.
Johnny worked for the City of Lethbridge for 25 years. After his retirement, Johnny and Margaret had many adventures traveling in the motorhome. He was a fun-loving character that loved telling stories, dancing and playing crib.
He is survived by his children, Nicki (Jim) Alway of Kelowna, BC, Gerry (Janet) Davis of Oakville, Ontario; His brother George (Ev) Kopervas of Lethbridge. Johnny is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. You will be missed.
A private service will be held where he will be laid to rest with his wife Margaret and son Scott Davis.
