John Charles Upton Walters ""Jack"", born February 23, 1923 in Lundbreck Alberta, passed away on September 16, 2010 in Lethbridge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63+ years, Ann, his daughters Carol Fitzpatrick (Keith), Peggy (Michael) and sons Ed (Myrna) and Craig (Susan). He was predeceased by his son Jim and daughter Dora. Jack was a stand-up guy, a friend to all and a great husband. Jack was also a wonderful father, a grandfather of 12 and a great grandfather of another 12.

He loved life and all living things. He was fair, honest and was admired dearly by everyone he knew. He loved sports, especially his Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and Stampeders. He played and coached hockey. He was an avid golfer. He was the founder of the Lundbreck Weasel hockey club. He was his children and grandchildren's biggest fan. He was a cowboy who rode saddle bronc and even taught the local youth to ride. For the most part he was a farmer.

In his retirement, he took on a lot more with his usual purpose and zest. Jack or Old Numb as he was fondly called by close friends; will be missed dearly. He will ride along with us in our hearts forever. May you rest in peace Jack, with all your crops 60+ bushels to the acre!
