John McKenna

Mr. John Patrick McKenna of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Barbara Joan McKenna, passed away peacefully at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the age of 71 years.

John was born in England on July 11, 1945 to James and Margaret McKenna. He was a long time service manager at Canadian Linen and he enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and coaching soccer.

John is survived by his loving partner Rita Kohlman; his daughter Lisa (McKenna) Carlson and Dan, Kaitlin and Brittany; son Brad McKenna, Vicki, Kaila, Bradee and Taylor; Darcy McKenna; his brother Michael

McKenna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides his loving wife Barbara, John was predeceased by his parents James and Margaret McKenna, his sister Judy McKenna; his brother Pete McKenna.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 St. S., Lethbridge, AB with Pastor Rodger Halvorsen, officiating.
