John Paul Liptak of Lethbridge beloved husband of Brigitte Liptak passed away on April 27, 2014 at the age of 58 years. John is the son of the late Paul and Hilda Liptak. He retired in 2005 from the Lethbridge Police Service. John enjoyed many hours woodworking and on motorcycle trips with his close friends and cousin. He enjoyed watching his young grandchildren grow and develop. John will be dearly remembered by his wife Brigitte, his daughter Amanda (Stuart) De Jager and son Shane (Natasha) Liptak; as well as his grandchildren Taylor, Ethan and Logan De Jager. He is survived by his three sisters Pauline (Ben) Lorincz, Maxine (Robert) Yong, Joan (Gerard) Rafinon, his brother Alan Liptak and his sister-in-law Linda Liptak. He is predeceased by his brother Albert Liptak. A Celebration of John's life will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 960-19th St. S., Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1W5.
