Jo-Anne Milroy

JO-ANNE ""JOSIE"" MILROY of Lethbridge, beloved wife of John Milroy, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side on June 5, 2011 at the age of 58 years.

Born on February 27, 1953 in Fort Macleod, Jo-Anne graduated from Claresholm High School in 1971. She worked various jobs including Time Air and Sears. She most recently worked for the government for over 20 years, until she became unable to continue working.

Besides her loving husband John, Jo-Anne is survived by her sons Shad (Colette), Todd (Mary) and Jeff (Natasha), grandchildren; Sierra, Brooklyn, Kye, and Shay, her father Jim Lievers, and mother-in-law Edna Milroy. She is also survived by her sisters; Jen (Al) Hart and Sue (Gord) Hatton, brothers; Mike (Diane) Lievers and Phil (Edna) Lievers, sister-in-law Sheila (Gord) Wirun, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Jo-Anne was predeceased by her mother Joan Lievers and her father-in-law Jock Milroy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 1011 4th Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Deborah Lannon, officiating.

Interment at Mountain View Cemetery.
