JEAN MRAK
1951 ~ 2015
Jean Mrak of Coaldale, beloved wife of John Mrak, passed away after a brief illness at St. Michaels Palliative Care Unit on January 30, 2015 at the age of 63 years.
Jean was born and raised in Foremost, AB. She moved to Lethbridge where she met her husband of 42 years. They moved to Coaldale 1983, where they raised their two sons. Jean loved running her Financial Advisory Business for over 20 years, and was a School Trustee for the Palliser School District from 2004-2013.
Jean loved travelling with John and her family, whether it was a camping trip or an adventure to a foreign destination.
Jean was proud of all her grandchildren and loved them dearly!
Jean will always be remembered for her sense of humor, amazing smile and gentle spirit.
Besides her loving husband John, Jean is survived by her 2 sons Brad (Nancy) and Joe (Laura); grandchildren Lucy, Jager, Kason, Charlie and Cora; 3 sisters Pat (Bob), Kay, Doreen (Clark); 2 brothers Gordon (Deborah), Ray (Faye).
Jean was predeceased by her parents Edward and Pauline Taylor.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Jean’s Life between 1:00pm – 3:00pm on Wednesday, February 4, at the Coaldale Mennonite Brethren Church, 2114 18 St., Coaldale, AB.
