Mrs. Jean Kropinak of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Lorne Kropinak, was called home to rest on January 8, 2017 at the age of 81 years.
Mom was born in Raymond on July 30, 1935 to Frank and Julia Sera. Raised on a farm in Broxburn, she met and married the love of her life Lorne on May 12, 1956 and together they raised 3 children; Darwyn, Lorna and Sherry.
Mom will be fondly remembered for her kind and giving heart, her strength, her fierce love of family, her passion for life, and her deep faith in God.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years Lorne Kropinak; son Darwyn Kropinak and her two daughters Lorna (Randy) Moore and Sherry (Shannon) Ivan; grandchildren Candice (Rob) McNeil, Colin (Christie) Ivan, Shaun (Jill) Ivan, Ryan (Jessica) Ivan, David Kropinak, Heather Kropinak and 10 great-grandchildren.
Jean is predeceased by her parents Frank and Julia Sera; sisters Ethel Kasko and Ann Fudra, and grand-daughter Krista Moore.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, January 16, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB, with Pastor Rodger Halvorsen, officiating.
