Mr. Jason Siemens of Lethbridge, best friend of Jennifer Ress, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the age of 53 years.
Jason was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, to Sylvia and the late Jake Siemens. He graduated from Rosthern High School in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, in 1991.
For the past 11 years, Jason dedicated himself to his work at LTT, where he built lasting connections with those around him. He also volunteered at Race City Motorsport Park in Calgary, reflecting his passion for racing and the automotive world.
Jason had a love for classic cars and enjoyed watching races on television. He especially loved cruising in his vehicle, taking pleasure in the open road and the freedom it brought. Outside of his interests in cars and racing, Jason enjoyed reading, spending time outdoors, camping, and, most importantly, spending time with his friends and family.
His passion for professional truck driving was another source of pride. In 2025, Jason earned third place in the Professional Truck Driving Team Award competition, along with a Rookie Award Championship recognition.
Jason is lovingly remembered by friend Jennifer, her children Wesley and Chelsey Ress, and 5 beautiful grandchildren, and family.
His presence will be deeply missed by the Siemens and LTT family and by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held at a later date.
