James Hutton

MR. JAMES ""JIM"" HUTTON of Lethbridge passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the age of 81 years.

Jim was born in Lethbridge on March 3, 1927 to parents Jim and Agnes Hutton and during his youth he attended Fleetwood School. Jim was a faithful long term employee of John Deere not only here in Lethbridge, but also Calgary, Edmonton and Regina. Only after 31 years of service did he retire.

In his retirement, Jim moved back to Lethbridge and drove bus for School District #51 and really enjoyed his time spent with the children. Later Jim would drive bus for the City of Lethbridge.

Besides his loving wife Nellie, Jim is survived by his son Terry (Donna) of Vernon, BC; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; brother Ken (Wanda) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Jim was predeceased by his son David; brothers Bill (May) and Ron (Diane).

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 St., N., Lethbridge, AB, with Father Tim Boyle, celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
