JAMES ""GLYN"" CALE passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the age of 72 years.

James is survived by his wife Joyce, his children from his first marriage to Loreen: Bryce (Marcelle), Martin, Tony (Nikki), Juanita (Jared), his daughter-in-law Tammy, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his sister Doris. He is predeceased by his parents, two sons; Daryl and Duane, an infant granddaughter Amanda, brothers Art and Lloyd and sister Olive.

Glyn's family emigrated from Wales to Weyburn, Saskatchewan where Glyn was the first Cale in his family to be born in Canada. He later moved to Lethbridge where he started his family. They then moved to Coaldale where they raised their 5 sons and 1 daughter. In his later years he spent countless hours volunteering at Fort Whoop Up. He had a deep love of nature, the outdoors and especially horses. The grand kids will miss his many stories. He was a people person and he loved to chat. Always loved and never forgotten...we will miss you.

A private family ceremony will take place on Saturday July 23, 2011. In lieu of flowers, treat your family with a trip to Fort Whoop Up, a place that Glyn thoroughly enjoyed.
