Jacoba Heyboer

JACOBA (KOOS) HEYBOER has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 4, 2009.

Jacoba was predeceased in 1969 by her husband of 30 years Pieter Heyboer and 3 children.

Jacoba is survived by her 6 children Adriana (Derk) Pierik, Wilhelmina (Bernard) Sterenberg, Marie (Herman) Konynenbelt, Levina (Jim) deKleer, Brian (Rochelle) Heyboer, Ben Heyboer and 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Jacoba was born in the Netherlands in 1920 and immigrated to Lethbridge in 1949, and for the last 12 years, she resided at the Balmoral House.
Jacoba was one of the founding and last surviving charter members of the First Christian Reformed Church of Lethbridge. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and board games with family and friends.

Her family and friends will dearly miss her faithful and constant presence.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Friday, May 8, 2009, at the MARTIN BROS. FUNERAL CHAPELS, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB.

A private family interment will be held at the MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY on Saturday, May 9, 2009, 1210 Scenic Drive S., Lethbridge, AB.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm, on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH, 1100 - 40 Ave., N., Lethbridge, AB, with Candidate Hank Vander Woerd officiating.
