Jack Miyauchi

MR. JACK MIYAUCHI of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Friday, March 4, 2011 at the age of 80 years following a brief illness.

Jack was born on June 10, 1930 in Brandon, Manitoba, and he came to Alberta with his family in 1942. He farmed in the Readymade and Sunnyside areas and then moved to Lethbridge in 1967 where he operated Jack's Trucking.

He will be remembered by his brothers; Jim of Red Deer, Bill (Heather) of Brooks, Archie (Lorie) of Calgary and by his sisters; Margaret (Yas) Utsunomiya of Gimli, Manitoba, Kathy (Ken) Utsunomiya of Brandon, Manitoba, Mary (Terry) Higo of Edmonton and Marj Fujita of Lethbridge. Jack is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Yoshia and Sue, brother Mas and sister Ida.

A private family burial service will be held. In lieu of flowers and koden, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
