Irene Pedersen

IRENE PEDERSEN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Lloyd Pedersen, passed away on February 18, 2012 at the age of 77 years.

Irene was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on January 17, 1935 to Steve and Magdalene Baczuk. Irene married Lloyd at the age of 21 on December 20, 1956 and they enjoyed 55 years together.

Besides her loving husband Lloyd, Irene is survived by her daughter Kim Pedersen, her sons Aaron Jeff Pedersen, Dane (Joanne) Pedersen, and Owen (Amy) Pedersen; grandchildren Andrew, Cierra, Naomi, Dean, Hannah, Annika and Leif; sisters Magdalene Baczuk, Mary Gilchrist, Bertha (Jim) Culver, Laurie (Art) Kalau, and Caroline (Ed) Makarenko; brothers Joe (Leona) Baczuk and Louie Baczuk, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Irene was predeceased by her parents Steve and Magdalene Baczuk; brothers Chester, Steve Jr., and John, and her sister Margaret Garber.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 20 Rocky Mountain Blvd. West, Lethbridge, with Pastor Nathan Fuehrer, officiating.
